Wanting to gain the most out of our
investment, scheduling
professional carpet care has always been a big
deal for my wife and I. Having done research concerning sticky
residue and how nasty debris stick to carpeting and upholstery like
Velcro, hiring an
expert has never been a question. There is never an
excuse to sacrifice
quality craftsmanship for a lesser, reduced one.
When we first moved into our
Hillsboro home ten years ago, finding a
well-
qualified professional company was a big deal. It really began
to make me think, what kind of a company would I trust with my
personal belongings? Then it hit me... The only way over this
hurdle was to go with a small,
owner-operated business that I could
build a
professional working relationship with. Fortunately, Google's
'nearby' technology makes creating a shortlist of well-
qualified
experts a breeze. However,
five-star ratings and customer reviews did
not provide the exact characteristic details or insight into cleaning
methodology. Naturally, I began to call one by one, speak to the
owner and pick their brain. This exercise was extremely insightful
concerning the level craftsmanship provided by different service
providers in the local area; some where effeminately more experienced
and knowledgeable than others. It quickly became apparent that in the
carpet cleaning industry, one definitely get what they pay for. Some
where very
inexpensive and provided very little return, while others seemed
extremely
over-priced, passing equipment cost over-head directly onto
the customer. After coming across the website for
Mountain ViewCarpet Care in
Hillsboro, what caught my eye was that he was a
family guy with over
15-years experience with
Truck Mounted Steam
Cleaning.
Owner-operated since 2007, Kyle has a clean-cut looking
image on his website, along with detailed information of his cleaning
process. Over-the-phone, he was friendly, polite and answered all my
questions using every-day language anyone could under-stand; a real
straight-shooter in my opinion. His services definitely were not the
cheapest but the perceived value was by far the greatest, making
MountainView Carpet Care the most
affordable option in the area. Fast forward
to today, we still use Kyle every year to restore carpeting and
upholstery in our home. Having three teenage boys and a dog, our home
gets hammered, but he always does excellent,
five-star quality
craftsmanship. And having the option of
green carpet cleaning is a
HUGE bonus.
